Posters and DVD Cover

Today I have done 5 basic Posters and have made a 4th version for a DVD Cover.

Each of the posters has a different character in the centre the colours that I have used for the Posters are Blue,Gold, and black and the DVD Covers I Have used the same colours but have also used Red alongside the 3 other Colours

Font Feedback

Today i asked both the First Year Performing arts and our Year Creative side to choose there top 3 Fonts and the winning font was Desdemona with a grand total of 6 out of 10 votes so that is the Font I shall use for the Poster DVD Cover and CD Cover

Today I have come up with a Few New Riffs for The Trailer Music and i will hopefully Be Recording Them Later on Today.

Update

I Have Recorded the New Riffs for one of the new tracks and i have also Made Changes to the First Track By Adding My Own Drum beat and Bass Line as well as Speeding it up to 320 BPM from its original 120 BPM.

so Far I Have 3 Tracks in the Works each track will Be Part of the Soundtrack which will include The Bonus Feature of The Film Trailer

Today I Did Some More to the Music Track that i will be Using For My Trailer. We also had a Team Meeting in which we discussed ideas for the Name and Logo

Ideas For Show Logo

Today as a Group we decided on an Idea for the Logo for our Show. we have decided to call the Show Collective as although we are working on individual pieces for the Show we are all Working as a Collective to make it Work as a Proper Show.

Lauren Came up with The Idea of Jigsaw and although the Name is already being used as a Clothing Brand we Decided to use the Image of a Jigsaw piece as The Logo with The Letters COLLE in a Stencil Type font and the letters CTIVE as a Different font and be a Solid Colour

We also discussed the idea of each of us having our own Work underneath the Letters COLLE and also making our Own Posters

01/10/10 Acorn Interview

Today we had an interview with Emma Joyce who is the Operations manager of The Acorn Art Centre.

The Acorn Has 5 Full time Members of staff.

These Are...
Toni = Director
Emma = Operations Manager
a Sound Technician
a Lighting Techinician
a person on the Box office

But the main People who are the Boss are The Board of Trustees.

The acorn is 41 years old and when it was bought it used to be a church which is very useful for the acoustics are really Good especially for Acoustic Performances.

12 years ago the Acorn received a Big Lottery Grant for the sum of Half a Million pounds this went on The Renovation of the Floor on the Main Theatre and Getting New Equipment after which they have been able to do Music Performances.

The Acorn Creates a Different Atmosphere for each type of show so for example a Rock show would Have the Band on a Stage near the Back of the Main Room where as a Stand Up Comedian will be on a stage with the Audience close to the Stage.
